I would like more work for my child to practice at home with?

•  I can definitely provide more work. I would suggest starting with the old STAAR release test first. 

How can I access the old STAAR release test?

• ​Use the old STAAR release test as a practice. The answers are provided also.

What programs can i use online for more practice?

• I highly suggest IXL.com. I personally used it with my kids and love it. The cost is around $10 a month. It covers reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar and mechanics.

What if my child is having issues with other students in class?

• Ask your child if he/she has mentioned the issue to the teacher first. There is a "By the Way" box for all concerns/notes. Please send an email to the teacher first stating the concern in detail. ​Please allow the teacher time to address the issue before heading to the principal.

What if I need to change transportation?

• Please send a note to school the same day or send an email stating the change. All changes need to take place at least an hour before dismissal. 

When is homework due?

• Homework is given on Mondays and due on Fridays.​

How to get the Remind text message alerts for class updates?

• Send a text to the following number: 81010  text the message @vwms44....Don't forget to add the @ symbol when sending the text message
